Description

This stunning and rare species is summer deciduous with foliage and flowers emerging in winter continuing through Spring. Helleborus purpurascens grows wild in and around open woodlands in mountainous areas. From Hungary to Poland and into the Balkans. Presenting a simple “dove” coloured open cup flower low to the ground then growing only 20-30cm.
